YT now shows shows the title in embeds, like Vimeo. And of course the ubiquitous, meaningless stars. Most people seem to hate it, as usual. What’s the deal with YouTube repeatedly changing the default appearance of what must be hundreds of millions if not billions of embedded videos? Don’t they think people care how their video looks? They probably A/B tested and found 1% of people are more likely to play the video so the ends justifies the awful appearance. Then again, when does anything YT does look good? I sense this will go the way of the search box.
