To the man with 94k motion-activated security clips of your front lawn:
You have caused more problems than anyone else and made us better programmers in the process.
Vimeo salutes you.
But seriously what the hell?

Our Top 11 for 2011
Two thousand and eleven was a big — dare we say huge — year for Vimeo. We launched a slew of new features; reached more people than ever; and, most importantly, scoped out a ton of awesome videos. We were right there with you all year long: watching, liking, sharing, and commenting, and not just because it’s our job to do so. Like you, we simply <3 <3 <3 videos. In accordance with our yearly tradition, each staff member put together an album of favorites from 2011, and to that larger pool we applied some utterly unscientific methods to identify the 11 videos that were most loved by the Vimeo Staff. So if you’ve been saving up your attention span to watch only a handful of videos this year, these are our recommendations. Check them out in Couch Mode! And don’t forget that the real honors and accolades will be doled out next June during the 2012 Vimeo Festival + Awards.
From the entire Vimeo Staff: Happy New Year and happy watching!

I made a video of my recent trip to Israel with Andrew. We visited Tel Aviv, Netanya (Outbrain R&D offices) and Jerusalem.

This was a great trip!

Here at the sprawling Vimeo office park, we have an end-of-the-year tradition. As we draw near the final page of our LOLCats LOL-A-Day calendar, we always take a few moments to stand in front of a large mirror and say to ourselves, somewhat accusatorily, “So, what did you accomplish this year?”While we’re reluctant to blow our own trumpets, we will shyly admit that we accomplished kind of sort of a lot in 2011. Head to the Vimeo Staff Blog for our Deep Reflections and Personal Horn-Tooting for 2011!

WHAT A YEAR! Seriously proud of our team and our massively growing community. Here’s to 2012 and the last year of the rest of our lives.
